Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas partners with GO7 to broaden sales capability

GO7’s technology provides Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas, a Spanish long-haul airline based at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, with solutions to scale its distribution.

Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas, a Spanish long-haul airline, has partnered with GO7 to support the airline’s growth strategy through expanded distribution. With GO7’s W2 ticketing solution, Plus Ultra can activate ticketing capability in over 190 markets worldwide, accelerating revenue and market share growth from non-strategic markets.

Empowering growth through distribution

Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas Air chose W2 as a partner due to its proven success in global BSP ticketing, with travel agent relationships Plus Ultra Líneas Aérea can’t currently reach.

Our new relation with GO7 will help us to find new revenue streams and enter into new markets as we broaden our network and connectivity across the globe.

Gibson Preziuso, Director of Industry Affairs and Communications of Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas.

A new approach to expanding distribution

GO7’s W2 ticketing solution enables carriers to earn incremental revenue in non-core or underserved markets where participating in an IATA BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) to facilitate payment is either unavailable or not cost-effective. With the support of the partnership, Plus Ultra Lineas now has access to an expanded distribution network – 100K+ IATA agencies across the globe can now book flights and issue tickets via GDS. GO7’s W2 ticketing solution also removes a significant barrier to entry for airlines launching operations in new markets: payments. By utilising GO7’s existing BSP agreements in 190 markets, Plus Ultra Lineas can avoid the lengthy process of establishing agreements with credit card issuers in each country and accept all local currencies without the risk of currency devaluation.

Plus Ultra will earn incremental revenues from many additional international markets while maintaining fully scalable and existing processes, both in booking and settlement. We look forward to enhancing our Network with PlusUltra, giving our global travel agency partners even more choice in terms of additional content they could not sell to their customers otherwise.

Peer Winter, Chief Distribution Officer of GO7
