SUNDAIR and WorldTicket by GO7 Partner to Unlock New Sales Channels and Global Distribution Opportunities

SUNDAIR, the German airline affiliated with the tour operator schauinsland-reisen, has entered into a strategic partnership with global airline and full IATA member WorldTicket, part of GO7, to expand its commercial reach via the W2 GDS sub-hosting solution.

The collaboration marks an important step for SUNDAIR as it begins offering individual ticket sales in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) for the first time. Through WorldTicket’s product, SUNDAIR flights will become accessible to more than 100,000 IATA travel agencies, TMCs, and OTAs worldwide, unlocking new global sale channels and driving greater visibility beyond its traditional tour operator network.

By adopting GO7’s robust distribution infrastructure, SUNDAIR will benefit from seamless global connectivity without the need for direct GDS participation or heavy upfront GDS costs. This solution enables the airline to maintain operational flexibility while gaining access to a broader customer base and incremental revenue streams. Flights are listed under WorldTicket’s W1 marketing carrier code and available for ticketing globally under W2’s ticketing designator code.

We’re really excited about our partnership with GO7. This is a huge milestone for SUNDAIR, which opens great opportunities and flexibility, and is a big step forward in boosting our distribution channels.

Marcos Rossello, CEO at SUNDAIR

The partnership with WorldTicket by GO7 aligns with SUNDAIR’s broader strategy of strengthening its position within the European leisure travel market. While continuing to serve as a key partner of schauinsland-reisen, SUNDAIR now has the opportunity to grow its independent sales footprint with minimal overhead or complexity.

We’re proud to support SUNDAIR as they expand into new commercial channels. Our mission is to provide airlines with the tools to take ticket distribution to the next level. Through W2 GDS Sub-hosting, we’re making it easier for SUNDAIR to connect with global markets and offer their services to a wider audience, such as Travel Management companies.

Peer Winter, Chief Distribution Officer at GO7
