Global travel tech platform GO7 celebrates expanding its network and onboarding its 200th live partner airline

GO7’s leaders celebrate the significance of this milestone and the company’s unwavering commitment to advancing airline technology

GO7, a global leader in travel technology solutions, has announced that it has achieved the significant milestone of reaching its 200th live airline customer, onboarding Iceland’s largest low-cost carrier, PLAY Airlines. Following a year of unprecedented growth – which also saw the company facilitate the travel of nearly 10 million passengers through its extensive suite of products – the achievement underscores GO7’s continued commitment to enhancing the aviation industry with cutting-edge technology and unparalleled customer service. With airlines enjoying access to various newly updated features across seven products spanning OMS, Distribution, and Retail, GO7’s solutions are designed to improve passenger experiences and drive revenue growth for airlines.

Since its inception in February 2023 with the merging of three airline technology companies – AeroCRS, WorldTicket and AirBlackBox – GO7’s commitment to providing innovative and scalable solutions tailored to the needs of airlines worldwide has been at the forefront of the company’s success. GO7’s rapid growth can be attributed to strategic partnerships with major airlines within their respective regions – such as Emirates, LIFT, BLADE, PLAY, Green Africa and Flair Airlines to name a few – underscoring the company’s global footprint. While other industries have digitized, the aviation sector continues to deal with fragmented systems that can limit agility and flexibility. Emphasizing the role technology can play in further enhancing airlines and the experiences they offer. Driven by an ambition to combat the challenges faced in the aviation industry, GO7 has taken up the mantle of putting power back into the hands of airlines through a range of products that are system-agnostic, modular and flexibly designed as a “one-stop” or standalone solution. From W2 – a global ticketing platform – to GO7’s scalable passenger service system, these solutions give airlines the tools to expand distribution and effortlessly adapt to airlines’ requirements.

McKinsey reports that the travel industry is on the brink of significant transformation, and this is fueled by the modern-day passengers’ growing willingness to endorse ancillary services – giving passengers the ability to book additional items related to a flight, such as lounge access, baggage, meals, and paid seats. This shift was made evident in the remarkable growth of global ancillary revenues, which surged from $42.6 billion in 2013 to over $102 billion in 2022 in less than a decade, according to IdeaWorks and CarTrawler. GO7 is, therefore, tapping into the shared belief that creating sophisticated tech can deliver more for customers.

“Reaching our 200th live customer is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication. Our mission has always been to empower airlines with the tools they need to succeed in a competitive market. This achievement reflects our commitment to delivering technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
