May’s Highlights

It’s the 7th of the month and we’re back with our monthly #WhatsBeenHappening at GO7. Last May has brought springtime and warmer weather to Europe and flourishing announcements that we’re very proud of. Let’s dive into them below.

Emirates and BLADE marked the skies with a unique new partnership

May started big with the announcement of a newly established partnership between Emirates and BLADE, facilitated by our tech stack. This unique collaboration provides seamless connections for Emirates passengers travelling from Dubai to Monaco, enhancing their overall journey with a luxurious helicopter ride after landing in Nice. In case you missed it, learn more about this partnership in the feature by Simple Flying: https://simpleflying.com/emirates-blade-helicopter-partnership-monaco-nice/.

GO7’s representatives at Aviation Festival Americas

Peer Winter, Chief Distribution Officer, and Alina Girs, Sales Manager at GO7, flew to Miami for an amazing 2-days event at Aviation Festival Americas. We’ve heard great things about it: inspiring new connections, encounters with friends and customers, and a great location! If you were there and missed the chance to chat with Peer and Alina, don’t worry; you can easily connect with them by filling out the form: https://www.go7.io/w2-by-go7-enquiry/.

Play is now available for sale on all major GDSs

We’re immensely proud to have facilitated PLAY Airlines, Iceland’s largest low-cost carrier, in offering their routes in the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) via our W1 Marketing Carrier code. GO7 brings its 200th customer onboard

We couldn’t end May without announcing something we’ve been working on for some time … 200 customers live across our platforms! For us, this isn’t just another achievement to check off the list; it underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering innovative and reliable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our community. As covered in Travel Weekly, read what this milestone means for us and our customers: https://www.travelweekly.com.au/article/tech-platform-go7-expands-network-with-200th-airline-partner/.

We welcomed 3 new carriers into the GO7 community

In addition to PLAY, we’ve welcomed two more carriers to our community – Mayfair Jets and IPS Airways. Based in the UAE, Mayfair Jets offers seats on leisure flights between Italy and Egypt, operated by multiple Egyptian carriers between August and October. IPS Airways is a UK startup carrier that will operate flights between Manchester and Islamabad starting in August this year. GO7 teams are growing, and so are our offices

From the start of 2024, we welcomed a wonderful group of new team members across GO7. With so many new talents in Tel Aviv, our team travelled to a much bigger office to accommodate everyone. If you want to join us in our mission, we’ve got spots open in our Customer Operations, Finance, and R&D teams. Check out all the open positions here: https://www.go7.io/company/our-people/.
